A little gel color and u can get the shade your looking for easily. Which means both time and money saver. Since I am learning cake baking on my own; wasting ingredients are one of my main concern. But the color gel has really helped on saving color. Which means I dont have to worry about re-ordering very often. The only two draw backs are that firstly black color should be made available in the pack, since it is one of the most difficult shades to obtain. And the quantity should be increased for the price that we are paying. But otherwise the colors are great and I would definitely order again.

Before I bought this product I read through all the reviews and was sceptically about the one negative review about the color changing, but that's EXACTLY what happened to me! I made this beautiful cake for my sister's birthday with fuchsia daisies around it, which turn a disgusting grayish-mauve color when the sunlight hit the cake while I was transporting it to the party (30 min. drive). Thank goodness this cake was just a gift for my sister, because I would have be absolutely infuriated if this had happened for an important event.

I have a 12-pack of Wilton colors, but I don't see that on Amazon, so I'm reviewing for the 8-pack.
Since 0 isn't an option (and it should be), I'm rating this a 1. But it doesn't even deserve that.
I just made a wedding cake for my best friend using the black and purple Wilton colors. I needed just a touch of the black to make gray buttercream, and just a little purple for both my fondant and buttercream. Both colors looked great when I applied them to the cake, but within minutes of being exposed to sunlight (even indirect sunlight), THEY CHANGED COLORS COMPLETELY! My purple turned BLUE and my gray turned GREEN. This is not acceptable. I had no idea this change in color would occur and NO WHERE on the package does it say that colors may change with exposure to sunlight. Even if I had kept it out of sunlight completely while I made it and stored it in complete darkness, it would eventually be exposed to sunlight when I went to transport it. It changed... Read more

I loved these bags their just a bit larger so they will hold more and you don't have to try to pry that bag open and add additional frosting. Of course who can beat the clean up on a throw away bag!!!

These are a perfect size so you don't have to deal with refilling a bag, the 12 inch are a little to small for what I use them for. I don't do any cake decorating but I do make shepherds pie and use these to pipe the mashed potatoes over the top, also to make merangues and around the holidays I make tons of deviled eggs and pipe the filling into the shells.

It's really difficult to find 16" disposable bags where I live, so it's nice to be able to order them online. I love these bags. As the other reviewer mentioned, it's nice to be able to add all the frosting I need in the bag only once. I hated having to open a 12" bag to add more frosting. So these are great!

I used Carol Fenster's recipe for French bread with this pan and FINALLY got a loaf of gluten free bread with a crunchy crust. It works really well for a soft interior and a crispier crust.
